For a dangerous guy in a dangerous profession, Jim doesn't have many scars. Six months after Zeller shot him, there's only a small white dimple marring the skin.

I wondered if it was part of his sentinel abilities. Biological self-preservation, enhanced healing along with the senses...

I wish we could've explored that. Beyond the broader implications of what it could mean if we all had that gene and could activate it somehow, there's the fact that knowing its limitations might be crucial for Jim's continued health.

But we don't do tests any more.

The worst scars are on the inside.
